In 2010, my right ankle was seriously injured, displaced, and fractured. I spent 3 months in a cast and am still screwed in 3 different places. When doing physical therapy, I learned about the Ilan Lev method. I was treated for two months, and it completely improved my pain and range of motion. In 2015, I decided to study the method to understand it better and help myself and others. Through the years, I treated my close circle of friends and family. Lately, I have decided to expand my circle of practice. I want to make more space in my life for doing good and passing on the power of movement in body and spirit.

Not exactly. While it may feel relaxing like a massage, the Ilan Lev Method focuses on movement through the skeletal system rather than just muscle manipulation. It’s a dynamic approach that encourages the body to let go of restrictions, rather than simply treating symptoms. It's a body dialogue between the practitioner and the patient, bringing and opening new movement possibilities.
Many people with these issues find relief through the Ilan Lev Method. It helps the body release unnecessary effort, promoting healing and ease. While we can't guarantee specific outcomes, most clients experience positive changes after just a few sessions.
It depends on your goals and how your body responds. Some people feel a big difference after one session. Even if in the first session we may have some release and some good results, addressing chronic pain conditions takes a series of treatments. You can come for the first treatment to meet the method and see if it resonates with you. I suggest a cycle of 5 treatments, then check how the condition has changed and decide whether to continue.
Please bring long, comfortable clothes. I think it's best to avoid having a full belly before the treatment. After the treatment, allow yourself to ease into activities.

Generally, patients feel relaxed throughout the treatment. I'll be sensitive to your body limits and responses. You might feel sensations you haven't felt before, including pain, as a release of old tension and blockages. If at any point during the session you feel pain, please tell me immediately, and I will adjust the movement or touch to ensure your safety.
